How our care team helps
Congregational Care Ministries provides care, concern, prayer, and support for families and individuals at every stage and circumstance of life. We want to extend the love, hope, comfort, and compassion of Jesus Christ to anyone navigating a time of change, challenge, crisis, or celebration.
We believe in the power of prayer and caring for our neighbor. Whether you are facing a challenge or celebrating a joy, we want to lift it to the Lord and walk alongside you.
-
We are blessed with a visitation team that includes pastors, Deacons, and lay members of the church. To ask for a visit, call the church office at (352) 753-8484.
-
Our Deacons and visitation team bring Communion to those who are unable to attend worship in person. Please let us know if you would like to receive Communion at home.
-
You can schedule a one-on-one meeting with one of our pastors, depending on availability and the issue to be addressed, with referrals provided as needed. Our pastors also meet with families about funeral planning and with couples for pre-marital counseling.
-
Our Deacons help oversee the care of our congregation and share God’s grace, mercy, and peace. They are here to pray with you and walk alongside you in your joys and concerns.
-
Stephen Ministers are members of the congregation trained to provide one-to-one care to people going through a difficult time, such as grief, divorce, job loss, chronic or terminal illness, or a move. Learn more at stephenministries.org.
-
North Lake hosts support groups and classes throughout the year, including GriefShare and Hope for Hurting Parents. Ask the church office about upcoming sessions.
