LIFE @ NORTH LAKE
The latest North Lake news right here.
To help increase our parking capacity, please use the 200 additional parking spaces across Rolling Acres Road from the church on weekends. On weekdays, parking across the street is allowed only after 5:00 p.m.
Also, when using the new Handicapped Parking area, “Head in Parking” is required to minimize the possibility of knocking the signs down into vehicles parking on the opposite side of the sign.
Thank you to all the returning and new volunteers who helped pack weekend snacks/meals this past week. We packed for 120 deserving children who attend The Villages Elementary School in Lady Lake. While there are just three weekends in December when the children are in school, we packed an additional week so each child will have a snack/meal over Christmas break.
The Villages Elementary School has asked us to please delay our packing by one week (just for January) because of their school vacation. Therefore we will gather on January 10th at 9:00 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall. As usual, all volunteers are welcomed and needed. You will have a very up-lifting experience as this local mission makes it possible for 120 children to have a weekend meal.
Hope you can join us—on January 10th!

The Parking Ministry also needs your help!
Looking for friendly men and women willing to give a couple of hours a month to help churchgoers secure parking spaces. This ministry will run from December through April. Training, vests and walkie-talkies will be provided. Sign-ups sheets will be at the Discipleship Sign-Up Desk or contact Ed Walker at 352-391-9220 or email@example.com or through a Communication Card.
The Buddy System is in need of volunteers to minister to those who are lonely and homebound. There are many who are in need of someone who will take a little time and spread a little sunshine in their lives. It will be a two-fold blessing, with you as the major beneficiary!
